Would You Have A One-Night Stand?” Indians React.

In a country like India where sex somehow becomes a moral issue, this video is very refreshing. The YTV Network asked a bunch of Indians on the streets of Delhi about their views on ‘One-Night Stands’; to our delight, instead of shying away or debunking the idea, these Indians showed a rather open mind towards it. The general public doesn’t consider sex a taboo nor do they feel the need for uncalled moral policing. Sex is a personal choice and should be left as one!

SHOCKING: When a girl gets robbed, people react. What happens when a GUY gets robbed?

New Delhi: What happens when someone steals a girl’s wallet or belongings? The whole crowd screams, chase the pick-pocketer and sometimes even beat him in a way that makes him question his life!

ppickpocketing

But what happens when a guy’s wallet or belonging is stolen. Does he get the same attention, concern and help?

This video by Prankly Speaking will make you think hard about the societal impact of the difference between a girl and guy.

This Kid Asked Strangers on the Street for a Cigarette. Here’s What Happened Next

big-story-smoke

Another social experiment is doing the rounds on social platforms. An ASSOCHAM report says 90% of teenage smokers begin by simply imitating their parents. So the YTV Network had a young boy go around the city asking strangers for a cigarette.

The results are uplifting – not a single person gave him one. On the contrary, they explained, in detail and with patience, the perils of smoking both to him and his older hench-smoker – from it’s addictive nature to the life threatening diseases smoking causes.

These adults know smoking is harmful and they have no qualms about admitting it to the kid. But should they preach what they don’t practice?

How a Cap of Coke Brings You 3 Minute Happiness

Hello Happiness of Coca Cola has been the talk of the town recently. They featured a touching ad that showcased a short documentary about blue collared workers in United Arab Emirates. They are migrant workers who are said to earn $6 per day. They have to be separated from the comfort of their homes & family to venture greener pasture.

The concept of Hello Happiness of Coca Cola was to give little joy for the workers in UAE by connecting them to their families through a phone call. It cost them almost a dollar to make a phone call home, so communicating with their families is a rare chance.

Coca Cola with the help of Y&R Dubai created phone booths that are operated by using plastic caps of Coke bottles. Each cap is equivalent to 3 minute international call. The booths were placed in labor camps. Days after, men in coverall and hard hats were seen lining up patiently, wearing their excited faces. The smiles they had while talking on the phone only showed how these brave workers longed to be with their families.

Whatever motive Coca Cola has for bringing these ad, Hello Happiness telephone booths have somehow made a difference for our modern day heroes.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil — opening ceremony

Best pictures from the opening ceremony in Sao Paulo. Brazil kicked off its home World Cup with a football-style carnival. Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and Claudia Leitte bounced around a giant stage resembling a peeled melon singing ‘We Are One’ on Brazil’s Valentine’s Day.
